PrEP South America is a qualitative research project dedicated to understanding the experiences related to access, use, and management of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV prevention across South American countries. Our multidisciplinary team of researchers is located throughout various regions of Brazil and Argentina. Through this initiative, we aim to contribute to PrEP science in specific contexts, fostering a more humanized approach to HIV prevention within Brazil's Unified Health System (SUS) and in other South American countries. This research is funded by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and the Ministry of Health of Brazil (Decit/SECTICS/MS).
