In the first half of 2025, IMS/UERJ and the PrEP South America project will hold the course “HIV/AIDS, new prevention technologies, social responses and neoliberal dilemmas” (001 – Special Topics in Human Sciences and Health III – IMS38277), open to undergraduate and graduate students from all over Brazil.
The discipline is structured in three main blocks:
📌 Historical overview and contemporary neoliberal dilemmas of AIDS policies
📌 New prevention technologies: sociabilities, bodies and identities at stake
📌 Interdisciplinary dialogues on the ‘era of combined prevention’
